THE EMPTY CHAIR
feelings must be felt in accordance to their nature; "The Empty Chair" lies nestled between intimate confessional poetry and artist' book, rooted in a sound art piece by luz mercedes, the author. a vulnerable story of a child gone unheard and a screech looking for a vessel. coming together as visual poetry that is reminiscent of queer zine-culture, one can find a raw exploration of grief in three movements: the house, nightly terrors and eventually, the inhabitant of the empty chair. vulnerability is infectious.
